I thought I was all prepped up for the Sagada road trip but when I tried researching for our possible itineraries, I realized I was gravely mistaken.
These oversized sweaters are OK for city tours but not for adventure-packed hikes.
Hence, I sorted through my closet again.
Day 1: Banaue Rice Terraces. Spelunking the Sumaguing and Lumiang Caves. Based on some Google photos I saw from previous tourists, there are parts of the cave where you have to submerge yourself in (without a doubt) cold, at the most waist-deep water. So it looks like I have to pack camp slippers or something. Or maybe cheap trek sandals.
Day 2: Waterfalls. Hanging coffins, etc.
Day 3: Sunrise at Mt. Kiltepan.
I’ve got cargo pants that can be folded up to shorts-length. I have a few dri-fit shirts. I also have a short-sleeved rash guard in case they decide to go swimming at the falls. And I guess the sweaters can be used for when we go to Kiltepan.
Got to start packing. See ya!
