The Pinatubo hike two years ago, with family.

Inside the 4x4. Sunrise. On our way to the starting point of the trail. We left Manila on a tour bus at around 2 am. We were dropped off, bladder breaks, then formed groups of 5 per 4x4.

And finally, after a two-hour hike, the crater of Mt. Pinatubo:

I actually changed into swimming garb to go for a dip in the crater, but it started to train. Which made the descent even more challenging the trail got muddy and slippery. Not to mention, the weather got cold.

We had lunch at the crater. It was inclusive in our tour package. After lunch, some of the tourists took a row boat around the Pinatubo Lake. I changed into swimming garb, but out tour guides had to gather us up to the cottages because it started raining, which made our descent more challenging.

So that was my first trek! When I got home, I slept for 15 hours straight. Haha. Luckily I didn’t have work for three days so I was able to recuperate. I literally laughed out loud when I found out that the trail difficulty in Pinatubo is just 2/10! Definitely need more training.

The dusty road to Pinatubo. Did you covered your SLR with anything?

Oh no wala po akong SLR. The girl with the SLR, that’s my cousin. Nakalabas nga ang cam all throughout the hike pero necessity din yun kasi marami talagang beautiful sights dun. Thanks for the comment! 🙂

Excuse My Face.

I'm not lost but I haven't been found either.
